Vikas Joshi

Vikas combines quality assurance work for major Australian organisations with sustained support for testing communities. Through STAG meetups, mentorship and the Melbourne Software Testing Meetup, testing practitioners have opportunities to share knowledge and learn from one another. This combination of practical delivery, community organisation and conference speaking supports software quality both within engineering teams and across the wider profession.

Vikas Joshi is Test Manager Lead at Woolworths Group and the founder and test architect at Test-Fast Software Solutions in Melbourne. With more than a decade of software engineering experience, Vikas has delivered quality assurance solutions for major Australian organisations, including AGL, Tabcorp, Woolworths and the NSW Government. Test-Fast provides software testing, consulting and training across desktop, mobile, web and native applications, focusing on robust software quality alongside timely delivery.

Community leadership forms another core part of Vikas's career. Vikas leads the not-for-profit Software Test Automation Group (STAG), promoting software quality through mentorship and events, and organises the Melbourne Software Testing Meetup to help practitioners learn and exchange practical experience. Speaking engagements include Testing Talks in 2025 and 2026, alongside recognition at the Wyndham Business Awards for Excellence in Local Community.
