A living record of who is shaping software quality

Software quality is one of the most consequential disciplines in technology, and one of the least publicly recognised. The Luvo 100 exists to make that influence visible: a ranking of the 100 people whose work most shapes how the world builds, tests and trusts software.

There are two rankings today — Global, and Australia & New Zealand — with more markets to follow. The Global ranking is published once a year, on 9 September. The Australia & New Zealand ranking is published each season, on 1 December, 1 March, 1 June and 1 September. Every past ranking is kept, so movement and history become part of the record.

Each ranking is decided half by ranked community voting and half by independent editorial assessment. Community support is a powerful signal; it never replaces judgement.

The Luvo 100 is independent. There is no paid placement, no sponsored inclusion and no pay-to-enter category.

Quality is bigger than testing. The list spans testers and quality engineers, reliability and performance specialists, accessibility advocates, developer-experience leaders, researchers, educators, tool builders and community organisers.
