Shirley built WeTest Auckland into a testing community that now runs as the Ministry of Testing Auckland chapter with more than 2,500 members, and also reviewed for Testing Trapeze magazine during its run.

Shirley Tricker is a project manager at Arvida Group in Auckland, known for establishing long-running software testing community initiatives in New Zealand. Shirley founded the WeTest Auckland meetup and co-founded WeTest Limited, creating dedicated spaces for practitioners to collaborate and share knowledge.

That local initiative grew into a substantial community that now operates as the Ministry of Testing Auckland chapter, with more than 2,500 members. Alongside meetup leadership, Shirley also supported the wider testing discipline as a reviewer for Testing Trapeze magazine during the publication's run.
