Abdiel Mancilla is co-founder and director of Turing Consulting as well as quality engineering and automation manager at Bendigo Bank. Based in Melbourne, Abdiel combines testing leadership within financial services with guiding a consultancy that delivers testing services to clients, driving quality engineering and automation across teams.

Originally from Mexico, Abdiel brings more than 20 years of software engineering and testing experience gained across North America, Europe and Asia before moving to Australia. Previous work includes managing quality engineering and automation at Services Australia, with an emphasis on continuous testing and enterprise delivery transformation.

Active in the professional community, Abdiel regularly speaks at ANZTB and Testing Talks events, sharing automation-first approaches and practical insights into software quality leadership.
